Ahome4it's patented access control systems are designed to be simple to use, simple to install and simple to run. For security, access codes are unique to each system and are constantly changing. They are only given to authorised users when access is needed. 

The system for home delivery is made up of three core components:

• a tough little electronic keybox called the NIB (Neighbour In a Box) 
• a database of registered NIBs and expected deliveries to the location of each one
• a behind-the-scenes software engine for generating access codes on-demand

The NIB needs no wiring to communication networks and is battery powered so installation is kept simple. The users are given a code when they need to gain access and they input it using a numerical keypad.

Sounds simple? It is.

The trick is that the code is only given out when needed and after Ahome4it has validated the user. Validation could be against a schedule of expected deliveries to an address or it could be because the user is individually registered on the Ahome4it database. The access code is unique to each system and is valid only for a short period of time.

Access codes can be distributed from a support centre over the phone or can be generated automatically using mobile phone text messaging.
